20% Consumes 90%
A 1999 study found that 20% of the United States population consumed 90% of the alcohol. This is strong evidence of an un-integrated drinking culture where consumption varies widely by sub-population.

This statistic does sound surprising but it also showcases that society does shun alcohol, especially beer. It is this reason for shunning alcohol that we have an incorret drinking age because our society shuns alcohol and even more when it’s consumed by young adults. However by fostering a culture of responsibilty, every 18, 19 and 20 year old can drink responsibly. To do this, we must lower the drinking age to 18 and implement an alcohol program with tougher alcohol laws. Don’t forget to post a comment.
