First offense DUI in Italy
Drivers in Italy who are convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol are imprisoned for up to one month, and receive a license suspension for up to 3 months. This is just for a first offense.

Italy has implemented a very good law which should prevent any drunk person from considering to drive. Since I strongly support that the drinking age be 18, I would recommend that this law be applied to any new drinkers who have abused alcohol by drunkin’ driving. If the drinking age were 18, the alcohol program implemented, and tough laws in place, there would only be success in establishing a drinking age at 18. Don’t forget to comment.

Italy also has a BAC limit of .05. Does CR advocate for that limit here in the states?
