Every university must have a medical amnesty policy so those aged 18-20 can avoid death or serious injury from binge drinking. Megan Stiles is correct in that those 18-20 are likely to binge drink when they get alcohol because of the ageist drinking age. The University of Iowa will do good in sponsoring their tailgating event. The ageist drinking age doesn't instill alcohol responsibility in those 18-20, so turning 21 can mean binge drinking.
