Fake IDs

A 1996 study found that 46% of 272 undergraduates surveyed had used a fake ID to purchase alcohol. The study’s results indicate that MLDA21 does not inhibit the consumption of alcohol in minors but instead simply pushes it from daylight.

One Response to “Fake IDs”

  1. Edwin Bonilla Says:

The study is old but the point is taken. It’s true that many university students had or have had a fake ID which says they are 21 or older. The solution would be to lower the drinking age to 18 and legislate several restrictions regarding alcohol pricing and other laws to ensure that alcohol responsibility is strong forever. We mostly have that culture so it should be extended to young women and young men who are in the 18-20 age range.
